Firelands Electric offers a $250 rebate to existing members of the cooperative who install an electric vehicle (EV) Level 2 (240-volt) charger in a home, office, or other building. There is a maximum of six charger rebates per non-residential commercial building. The equipment must be installed between July 1, 2025 and June 15, 2026. Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) has $1.5 million in funding available for residents looking to install Level 2 charging stations. Eligible Maryland residents may receive up to $700 or up to 50% of total eligible costs per charger. This is a first-come, first-served program and funding is available until fully allocated or until June 30, 2026.

Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Utility (RCMU) offers residential customers up to $500 for installing a Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charger at their residence. Pre-approval is not required and customers can submit their application after installation has been completed, through June 30, 2027.

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) offers up to 50% of eligible project costs or up to $5,000 towards equipment and installation costs for Level 2 chargers. Eligible applicants include Maryland businesses, LLCs, incorporated non-profits, and state/local government entities. Chargers must be located in non-residential places of business and can be public or private; multifamily housing projects must be located in a common area. This is a first-come, first-served program with applications accepted until June 1, 2026, or until all funds are expended.
